Terms and Conditions
einmalfilm.com | Purchase of Einmalfilm codes
Last updated: 27 September 2026
1. Provider and scope
These Terms and Conditions apply to purchases of Einmalfilm codes through einmalfilm.com. The seller is COLD3 UG (haftungsbeschränkt), Speditionsstraße 15a, 40221 Düsseldorf, Germany ("we" or "us"). You can contact us at support@einmalfilm.com. They apply to consumers and business customers. Separate Terms of use on einmalfilm.online govern how an event creator and participants use the event service. Mandatory rights under applicable law remain unaffected.
2. What a purchase includes
Each paid unit provides one individual purchase code for a selected participant limit. Each code can be used once to create one private event on einmalfilm.online. A purchaser can use the code or give it to another person. The buyer, code holder and event creator need not be the same person. Giving a code away does not create a second purchase from us.
The currently offered participant limits are 5, 10, 20, 50, 100, 200 and 500 people per code. The event creator counts as one participant. Each confirmed participant, including the creator, can capture up to 25 successfully stored moments during the event. The event creator sets a duration of 1 to 48 hours and chooses, when creating the event, whether only the creator or all confirmed participants receive the shared private archive link. The choice and event settings cannot be changed after creation.
Guests join through a shared event link or QR code and confirm access through a personal email link; no app or account is required. After the event, one private ZIP archive is made available through a shared link until seven days after the event ends. Anyone who receives that private download link may be able to access the archive, so recipients should keep it private. There is no public live gallery. The exact participant limit, quantity, currency and total price of your order are shown before payment.
3. Ordering and contract
On einmalfilm.com you select a package, a quantity of one to twenty codes of the same package and either EUR or USD. You can review and correct your selection before moving to Stripe Checkout. At Checkout, you provide the requested billing and payment details, can review the final amount and submit a payment order. The purchase contract is formed when payment is confirmed and we accept the order by issuing the code or codes. If the payment is not completed, no code is issued. If payment is confirmed but the email containing the codes does not arrive, contact us so that we can investigate and fulfil the order or address the problem under applicable law.
4. Prices, taxes and discounts
The website displays the package price in the currency you select, EUR or USD. The displayed package prices exclude applicable taxes; Stripe Checkout calculates applicable taxes from the information supplied in Checkout and displays the amount payable before you confirm payment. For business purchases, Stripe may ask for a business name or tax identification number. Discounts apply only when a valid promotion code is accepted in Checkout and are reflected in the final amount. A promotion code does not remove a consumer’s statutory right of withdrawal. We do not convert a selected EUR price into USD or vice versa; these are separately set prices.
5. Payment, codes and invoices
Payment is handled through Stripe using the methods offered in Checkout. Following confirmed payment, we generate one purchase code per paid unit and send all codes in a single English-language purchase email to the email address supplied for the purchase. The code is not displayed on the public success page. The email includes the expiry date and, where available, a link to view or download the Stripe-hosted invoice. Please check the address you enter and contact support if the email does not arrive.
A code is valid for one year from the recorded payment time; the expiry date in the purchase email identifies its deadline. A code must be active, unexpired and unused when an event is created. Checking a code does not redeem it. The code is permanently redeemed only when event creation succeeds. Please share purchase codes and personal access links with care and contact us if a code is lost or exposed.
6. Using the event service
The person who redeems a code accepts the separate Terms of use and receives the event creator’s personal camera link and a guest registration link. Guests accept the applicable Terms of use before joining. The event creator is responsible for choosing the event details and archive recipients and for sharing links appropriately. Product limits, camera operation, archive access and the handling of photos are further explained on einmalfilm.online. Technical problems should be reported promptly to support@einmalfilm.com so we can investigate.
7. Withdrawal and refunds
Consumers may have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal. The separate Withdrawal information at https://einmalfilm.com/refund explains how to exercise it and includes a model form.
No withdrawal for redeemed codes
Each code is treated separately. Once a code has been redeemed, the right of withdrawal for that code expires. Redeemed codes cannot be withdrawn and will not be refunded.
If an order contains several codes and only some of them have been redeemed, withdrawal remains possible only for the unused codes within the applicable withdrawal period. The refund will be limited to the proportion of the amount actually paid that is attributable to those unused codes, including the corresponding share of any discount and applicable taxes.
Redeeming one code does not affect the remaining codes in the same order or an event created with another code.
8. Problems and statutory rights
If a code is invalid, a paid code does not arrive, the event service does not work as described or an archive cannot be accessed when it should be available, please contact us at support@einmalfilm.com. Statutory rights concerning non-delivery, lack of conformity, remedies, damages and withdrawal remain unaffected. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where the law does not allow an exclusion or limitation.
9. Contact and language
These Terms and Conditions, the Stripe purchase flow and purchase email are provided in English. For purchase questions, code delivery and refund requests, contact COLD3 UG (haftungsbeschränkt) at support@einmalfilm.com or the postal address stated in section 1. The separate Privacy policy explains the processing of personal data. Mandatory consumer protection rules applicable to you remain unaffected by the language of these terms.
